Alcoholic beverages should be banned from college campuses for two reasons.The first reason is that drinking can cause academic failure.If students drink before class or have a hangover from drinking too much the night before ,they will be unable to concentrate on their school work .They may miss classes ,fail exams,and miss term paper deadlines.This behavior could force themto drop out of school.For example, last semester,my friend Dan ,who liked to party every night ,dropped out of school .He failed organic chemistry twice and barely passed his other classes .As a result,his parents refused to pay for his education any longer.Recently,Cypress College did a study of student dropouts .Out of ninty cases reported,65 percent dropped out because they had failing grades due to excessive drinking.Therefore,it is true that drinking can interfere with success. 
The second reason for banning alcoholic beverage campuses is that drinking and driving can be deadly. Nowadays,along with the economy developing,many students can buy cars,it has been very popular.You see ,there are a number of students in UKM have cars now .If students drink and driving or he/she drink too much last night ,it will hard to avoid accidents.Driving while either intoxicated or drunk is dangerous and drivers with high blood alcohol content or concentration (BAC) are at greatly increased risk of car accidents, highway injuries and vehicular deaths Unfortunately, in spite of great progress, alcohol-impaired driving remains a serious national problem that tragically effects many victims annually.
Young people are over-represented in driving accidents involving alcohol. In a recent year, people aged 16 to 24 were involved in 28 percent of all alcohol-related driving accidents, although they make up only 14% of the U.S. population. Young people are also over-represented in drinking driver injuries and deaths. Even when their blood alcohol contents (BACs) are not high, young drinkers are involved in driving accidents at higher rates than older drivers with similar BACs. . Every single injury and death caused by drunk driving is totally preventable. Although the proportion of crashes that are alcohol-related has dropped dramatically in recent decades, there are still far too many such preventable accidents.So we must very carefully for our driving.
